Members, guests and visitors are asked to respect this dress code:
* Don’t dress as if you’re going to play or watch a football match and remember to wear the right shoes
* Don’t dress as if you’re going to play beach tennis or going for a run.
* Don’t dress for P.E. or any other sport.
Not allowed on the course:
* Jeans/denim
* Tracksuit bottoms
* Armless tops/vests (Men)
* Crop tops
At Tenterden Golf Club we expect all players to dress like you are going to play golf – smart and respectful whilst being comfortable and practical.
Each player must have their own set of golf clubs, as sharing clubs is not permitted and all players should have previous golf course experience.
Maximum number of players per group is 4.
Golf shoes must be worn on the course, but not in the clubhouse. There is an area towards the balcony end of the clubhouse which is used as a spike bar.
Juniors (under 18s) are only permitted on the course after 11:30am. Children who are under 14 years of age who are not Junior Members shall not be permitted to play unless any of the following apply:
* In possession of a valid handicap certificate and accompanied by an
adult
* playing as a prospective junior member with the Club Pro or an Officer of the Club or
* a Junior Member of another golf club playing in an officially organised Club competition open to other clubs or
* playing golf or caddying with an adult member, such adult being responsible for the supervision of such child and for his or her conduct on the course.
It shall be the responsibility of the parent or guardian of any child under 14 years of age to ensure that such child is properly supervised while on Club premises.
